I visited Dr. Diptarka for septoplasty. Within minutes he found that I had enlarged tonsils due to which I had sleep apnea. So, I underwent septoplasty and tonsil removal surgery. As he said, it will be life changing event for me and that was true. The only thing comes in my mind about him is he is truly enthusiastic and expert in his work. He explains everything in layman term and will support you from beginning until you are completely fit and fine. The best part is that he is available over WhatsApp for any emergency query anytime required, I have never seen any doctor in my life who is dedicated so much towards his patient’s recovery. He was very thorough with my diagnosis - I had trouble breathing and it was getting worse. After one month of taking sprays and medicines, when the symptoms didn’t get better I decided to go for surgery. He patiently explained what is causing problem with my breathing.

Surgery was rather smooth, I went for turbinate reduction and Septopladty but Dr. had to perform sinus surgery as well as the infection was not visible in CT scans. This helped with my overall treatment of breathing issues.

Although I couldn’t breathe through nose for 1 day after surgery, it started getting better from further on.

While taking post operative care, I had some lasting irritation for couple of day after first cleaning but Dr. Diptarka was available over Whatsapp to help me with my queries and even suggest changes in medications.

I was suffering with nasal blockage for about 3 months, visited doctors and got CT Scan done. Most of the doctors said let’s go ahead with the surgery but I was not satisfied.
